Map Analyis: Brooklyn Park Distribution

The pattern shows that the larger parks are located in the areas with higher income, whereas the smaller, pocket parks are generally offered in areas with higher concetrations of low income. This is especially clear in the easter portion of the borough.

There is a clear correlation between the higher income tracts and the prevelance of playgrounds. The darker brown tracts signify areas with higher income. There are more playgrounds clustered around these tracts and less around the lighter colored (low-income) tracts
